i had a lovely stay at alpine view motel during my overnight stop. the room was very clean and comfortable, which made my time in te anau much better than expected. john's warm welcome and helpfulness was a highlight, making me feel right at home!

warm, welcoming, wonderful
From the wonderfully warm welcome by John on arrival, to the lovely spacious rooms equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, I felt right at home. The kitchenette allowed us to prepare simple meals, and the fast Wi-Fi let us stay connected. The best part? The location was perfect, just a short stroll to Lake Te Anau, making evening walks a delight.

I had a delightful stay at Alpine View Motel. The staff, particularly Petra, were attentive and friendly, providing great assistance during check-in. My room was exceptionally clean and offered excellent amenities, making my visit very comfortable. The location was perfect, only a short stroll to Lake Te Anau, allowing for lovely evening walks.

Shower felt quite cramped!!! Plus, the property seemed to need a deeper clean, especially around the skirting boards!!! The numerous rules gave off a campground vibe, which isn't ideal in a motel setting!!!

The one-bedroom apartment offered ample space, with the benefit of a separate bedroom that added privacy. The view from our room was stunning, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful landscapes even from inside.
Some areas in the apartment felt a bit outdated.
